Just a list today.
- Dinner: air fryer chicken with spicy italian seasoning, roasted cauliflower with sriracha barbecue sauce, garlic aioli, and green goddess to dip.
- Bingo: I forgot how much I love bingo? Honestly I had three cards going at once and didn’t win any of the rounds. Reminds me of the first time I saw *real* bingo in France when I was a teenager. Mostly older ladies with a stack of cards and real prizes.
- Do The Thing* Hour: with regulars!
- Movement: a run out in the cold listening to WBUR, a mid-length walk with Bertram in his little plaid hoodie. A late night Power Yoga class with Chelle.
Other good things:
- Candles from Trader Joe’s – the big unscented stack candles, in Weck jars, to improve mood.
- Heated blankets.
- Hydration. (Aspirational, I’m about to go do that.)
- More Midsomer Murders. I’m consistent. I’m really enjoying the upgraded Apple TV after a decade with my old one.
- Canceled meetings: reclaiming the time to do NOTHING.

Good Things:
- Lunch: crispy lettuce salad with tomatoes, cucumber, sardines, and the last of the Ayacote Amarillos.
- Dinner: fish sticks, cauliflower rice, and cottage cheese. With sriracha bbq. Roll with it.
- Snacks of note: another Stone and Skillet muffin with truffle brie. TJs peppermint cookie mix thinned and cooked like pancake.
Also: a 3 mile run in the cold that was surprisingly enjoyable with gloves and a warm hat and WBUR – even didn’t mind the pledge drive. And my regular Tuesday night Yin with Yasemene.

Good Things:
- Food today: lunch (unpictured) palak paneer with some added chicken; a delicious stone and skillet English muffin with truffle Brie; dinner – a rice bowl with quick picked cucumbers, tomato, and baked branzino. With the tail end of my discontinued dynamite sauce.
- A new Ravensburger puzzle! Thank you Henry Bear’s Park!
- Movement: brisk walk with Bertram, mile run, power yoga with Chelle.
- A “no zoom” workday. (Thanks to lovely coworkers.)

Good Things:
Food in bowls! Lunch bowl: beans, leftover chicken, avocado, lime. Dinner bowl: leftover chicken, rice, broccoli with cheese sauce. 🙌Snack bowl: cottage cheese with cocoa and cinnamon.

Midsomer Murders. I’m on season 20. It’s chock full of soothing campy murders. Perfect for background relaxation on a windy cold day.
Running a mile in a blizzard. It was remarkably warmer than I had expected, minus the several inches of cold slush puddles.
Decompress and Rest with Jess on Ompractice tonight. Her classes are always lovely, and I try to live vicariously as she teaches from Hawaii.
Rest, relaxing, FaceTiming the fam after dinner.
Tomorrow: meal planning, vacuuming, cleaning snow off the car, and a Trader Joe’s run. Wild plans!
