This weekend I started – and finished – reading Marie Kondo‘s book “the life-changing magic of tidying up“, which I highly recommend to anyone who feels like they need a little bit more order and organization at home. The book is full of practical advice, and simple, clear instruction. It’s another great success of the current Ten Speed Press lineup – one of my favorite publishing houses.

I also recently read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, and it’s one that I will be re-reading periodically. It all seems so simple, but it really made me re-evaluate my relationship with items I’ve held onto that don’t bring me joy. What other Ten Speed Press books have you read that you would recommend?
Ten Speed primarily publishes cookbooks, and there are so many great ones! (They also pick up some books published overseas, like Marie Kondo’s). Some of my recent favorites: Relae, Plenty More, Sherry, A New Napa Cuisine, Nigel Slater’s Eat (although, I have the UK edition), the Flour and Water, Banh Mi Handbook, Vibrant Food, Asian Pickles…
I just started reading this too — and as simple as some of it seems, it just makes so much sense. A really wonderful read!
